Hi best friends! I went home to good ole Pensacola this past weekend for the Veteran’s Day long weekend and may or may not have done a wee bit o’ shopping while I was there. I got quite a decent amount of stuff but I was most excited about being back in a REAL Sephora store that isn’t inside a JCPenney’s (tis the little things in life.) I love Sephora. It’s where I first really fell in love with makeup and skincare and all kinds of good stuff like that. I didn’t buy a whole lot (really only 3 products) but if you know Sephora at all, even 3 products is gonna cost you. Let me show you what I bought!
-You. Guys. This scent is phenomenal. I don’t know if you guys have ever gone in to Sephora and just sniffed the Nest fragrances but all of them are beyond perfect. This packaging really stuck out to me and after one sniff I was sold. This is one of those fragrances that you could wear all year long and never get tired of it. It complements both winter and summer body scents, as it has a nice mix of both woodsy and floral notes. It’s just perfect…I can’t handle it. I bought the rollerball in hopes that SOMEBODY will get me the full size for Christmas (hint hint.)
-I have wanted to try this stuff for ages now and I finally broke down and got it. I’ve heard rave reviews from every beauty guru under the sun & now I know why. This stuff is great! I mean it’s lip scrub so not too much different from any DIY version (other than the fact that this one is NOT edible.) I made the mistake of licking my lips while this stuff was still on there…don’t do that guys. It tastes awful, so unlike the LUSH lip scrubs I’ve tried in the past, which is the only downside to this product. Other than that it works great at exfoliating and conditioning your lips (so important this time of year especially) and I think it will last a decent bit of time as you don’t use much of the product when you use it.
-So yeah…this happened at the checkout line. I was being good and was only going to get the previous two items above and then I saw the travel version of my much beloved prime style extender and justified it with my travel schedule as of late. That Sephora checkout stuff gets me every single time. I’m such a sucker for small packaging.
-This was my 100 point perk for being a Beauty Insider with Sephora. I always say I’m going to save my points and get something really nice but I never do. I always see something I’ve been wanting to try and immediately forget about the big 500 point perks I was saving for. Typical. Anyways, this little guy…you guys don’t even know. I plan on doing a full review of this on Monday since I’ve been testing it out for a whole week now but so far…it’s phenomenal. Stay tuned.
So that was the Sephora part of my shopping adventures this weekend. I also made a pit stop into Ulta and some other places and plan on doing some reviews of things I bought there instead of doing a big ole haul mess of ish. You guys stay classy and warm this weekend. See you Monday!
