The Accidental Haul

HI best friends! So you may be wondering where I was on Friday…I have no excuses. I literally had no inspiration to blog. I was editing my “Transitioning into Fall Lookbook” which should go up today but I’ve decided to reshoot the whole thing. You guys ever get like that, just blergh about what to write or what you had planned? Well that happened to me Friday and as a result I decided to go to Target for milk and…well, you guys know how Target is. It’s a black hole for your monies but always fun. So a haul happened. Oops. I promise the lookbook will go up. I’m just not gonna say when so as not to disappoint all of us again. So, let’s get started with all the things I shouldn’t have bought shall we?

My first bit was genuinely needed. I ran out of my last bottle of Organix and decided I would give the brand another shot. This time I chose Renewing Argan Oil from Morocco shampoo and I have to say….LOVE this one so much better than Cherry Blossom Ginseng. it smells great and my hair has never been shinier and healthier looking. Only downside is my use of dry shampoo has gone way up on my off days of no shampooing but I’ll take the bad with the good.

Next up is Maybelline’s Color Whisper. I must be the last Beauty Blogger on planet Earth to try these but I am not disappointed. I got Go Nude which is a beautiful nude-pink shade and perfect for those off duty, no makeup days. Great formulation and great price. I wonder if the brighter colors perform as well.

I have been wanting the Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude for months now but every time I went to my Target it was always out. But behold! I found it and I am in love with this stuff for my waterline and my tear duct area. I look instantly awake in the AM wearing this, which is a great thing for humanity.

Next up are two nail products. One is a new Sally Hansen color from her holiday collection called Style Steel. OMG this color is everything. I can’t wait to wear this for Christmas parties, New Years, etc. It’s that really pretty subtle shimmer but man does it pop. To top it off (get it?) I FINALLY bought the ever touted Seche Vite top coat. Will report back once I’ve used this but from all the good reviews on it I doubt I’ll be disappointed.

Seche Vite $7.98 from Target. Sally Hansen "Style Steel" $2.89 from Target.

Then, since I was on such a roll in Target AND had two coupons about to expire I headed to Bath & Body Works. The obsession continues…

Bought this for my bedroom. Think it goes nicely with my plaid sheets and it smells like a Christmas Tree!

This is for my kitchen and so far has made my whole house smell like a winter wonderland of happiness.

With one of my coupons I got a free item so I chose this bad boy right hurr.

Stress Relief is key in my life right now and this smells like guaranteed bathtime loveliness.

And thats it folks. Sorry if I disappointed anyone with my lack of promptness or lookbook-ness but I just wasn’t proud of it enough to put it to the interwebs. Until Friday my lovelies.

  1. Love impromptu shopping sprees! I always feel great (although guilty because should I really be wasting money when I have so many bills?). Nice haul, I really want to try the nude Rimmel scandaleyes but I can’t find it anywhere.
