Hi best friends! So as promised here is the start to my “Transitioning into Fall” series!
I decided to talk bath scents and products first because that’s usually the first routine change I make when the seasons start turning. I’m kind of sad to see all my coconut, floral, & citrus scents go but I’m also excited because I get to bring out my favorite scent in the world. I don’t know if you guys have ever gone to Bath & Body Works and smelled Twilight Woods before but if you haven’t…please do. This scent came out when I was in college and I have used it every fall/winter since. According to B&BW themselves it “evokes the warmth & mystery of enchanted woods with an enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals & Tuscan Cypress.” I think it smells like sexy Christmas. Regardless it’s my go-to fragrance for the colder months.
My next scent “collection” for Fall is again from Bath & Body Works. I have a bit of a love affair with them and their candles and the scents just sucker me in even more. I blame my best friend who worked there for years while I was also working retail. She was forever bringing home smell goods and I just couldn’t resist going and buying them all the time with her. This one is called Dark Kiss and is, unfortunately, no longer available for purchase or testing in stores. It’s an online only fragrance but I promise you, its a MUST-HAVE! It’s the perfect transition scent. It’s still has a hint of sweetness to it but also has the spicy scent that reminds you of crunchy leaves and pumpkin spice lattes (yeah I went there.) B&BW describes it as a “seductive blend of dark berries with a kiss of vanilla to unleash your most primal passions.” I don’t know about primal passions but every boy who’s ever smelt this has never complained. So there’s that tidbit.
Short & sweet to start off this series right? Hopefully you all didn’t already know about these and got to discover something new. My B&BW prejudice runs deep but if you guys have any go-to Fall bath products you use every year share them in the comments! Next Monday I’ll be back with “Transitioning into Fall: Clothes & Accessories”…basically how to take your favorite Summer items into Fall.
Till Friday, lovelies.
*I just felt the need to say Bath & Body Works did not sponsor this post. I just love them that much.*
